    • Ethos: the characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community as manifested in its beliefs and aspirations.
      • Odell Beckham Jr. is a credible source because he is a famous athlete
      • People often associate his hairstyle with the hair product that he uses
    • Pathos: (appeal to emotion) is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response to an impassioned plea or a convincing story.
      • Exemplified through making the audience want to buy Head and Shoulders to get great hair
      • To become something great like him
    • Logos: (appeal to logic) is a way of persuading an audience with reason, using facts and figures.
      • Uses intense music with small amounts of information being said to get the audience to really listen to what he is saying
      • They also use his jersey as a way to show that his shoulders are clean because that is one of the promises of the product
      • Less dandruff equals less mess on a jersey and a name
  • Since he has a big name for himself the last thing that he wants to have on his shoulders is dandruff.
